F.I.D.O. Summary

Nothing is easier than self-deceit.  For what each person wishes, they also believe to be true” is a quote from Demosthenes (384–322 BC) who was a prominent and well respected Greek statesman and orator of ancient Athens.  Interestingly, over 2,000 years later we’re still deceiving ourselves . . . 

Have you ever thought—how do I know if what I’m thinking, feeling or doing is really acceptable?  For example, am I drinking too much?  Am I getting too angry too often?  There is an easy way of checking this which is by using our new friend FIDO

Simply put, if the Frequency, Intensity and Duration of any behaviour we have is kept ‘in check’ or ‘under control’ we’ll be OK.  Just remember, FIDO rules! 

FIDO rules are  just as important regarding our thinking processes, our emotions and our behaviour because FIDO will independently fit in all these categories.
