Andy Dovey (DHP, NLP, LAPHP, LNCP)

Maggie is a Nutritional Therapist & Clinical Hypnotherapist.  She is a member of the fntp (Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners) & the NCP (National Council of Psychotherapists)

A key aspect to Maggie’s work in nutritional therapy is client education.  It’s vital that clients understand the principles of nutrition and are empowered to make their own choices.  Essentially, there are two elements to nutritional therapy: taking out the foods and other substances that are causing harm, and adding the foods / nutrients which are lacking. 

Maggie encompasses both advice on dietary change and the use of nutritional supplements, recognising each person's unique biochemical make-up based on an individual assessment.

Maggie is committed to ongoing training and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.  She says that “I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to incorporate my passion for Nutritional Therapy with the power Clinical Hypnotherapy to help educate and empower my clients.  Together they are a formidable combination that have achieved some amazing results”.

The founder of evive, Andy originally trained in NLP and Hypnotherapy back in the 1990’s under the now famous Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler (co-founder of NLP).  Andy continued his training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist attending a programme developed by Terence Watts, world renowned hypnotherapist and author of the groundbreaking book “Warriors, Settlers and Nomads”.

Andy is also a Tutor at Inspiral Therapy Training where he teaches students studying for the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (H.P.D.).  The HPD is a nationally recognised and independently accredited diploma in Hypnotherapy.  It is also acknowledged as the best foundation qualification by the UK’s largest practitioner body - NCH (The National Council for Hypnotherapy). 

Andy’s other passion in life is music.  He plays drums and percussion, performing regularly in both live and studio situations.

F.I.D.O is an Acronym that was developed by Dr Beth Quickstrom (a Chartered Clinical Psychologist from Helsinki) to help people decide if something is really an issue in their lives.
